Start Classification
Classification

Fast access to your knowledge requires structure and integration. Classification simply solves these requirements like no other method of knowledge management. Even in large amounts of parts and assemblies you will be able to target exactly what you are searching for without relying on accidental hits of a google-search.

In the first instance your field of knowledge (for example your part spectrum) is classified into clusters. Then again every cluster is classified into a tree structure while every cluster describes the explicit objects of knowledge on the basis of class specific parameters.

Structuring of classifications

Search-options are defined by structure and parameters. We support your quick start into knowledge management by giving you a standard classification for your parts and assemblies. This is the result of our comprehensive consulting activities on this sector, of course including DIN 4002. You can start right away to clean up. You can modify and rearrange the classification according to your requirements.

Structures from e@Class or UNSPC may be setup in PartExplorer in the twinkling of an eye, even without changing the original structure. Sounds and looks like witchcraft, but in fact it is only a little glimpse into the big bag of tricks the PartExplorer has to offer.

Filling of classification

Search results are affected by data quality which demands accuracy and determination. What used to be hard and anoying manual labor taking month to finish, can quickly and comfortably be done via automatism nowadays - like sorting parts into clusters or completing object parameters without lifting a finger. You will find the adequate rules and standards within the provided standard classification of PartExplorer.
