iMechX has been rolled-out to all business locations of Kolbenschmidt Pierburg AG worldwide. Re-usable parts are now managed worldwide by central standardization to achieve a continuous reduction of the number parts.

iMechX provides a library for standard-, and catalog-parts as well as corporate standards for automatic generation of geometry. Its intelligent engineering functions allow semantic (context-sensitive) selection of parts and automatic positioning. A powerful classification module classifies knowledge for all re-usable parts.

iMechX has been fully integrated into the IT-environment consisting of CATIA V5 as well as SmarTeam and SAP. And iMechX provides a high degree of acceptance through its intuitive user-interface.

Re-usable parts are now handled by central standardzation using the unique technology of the classfication module of iMechX.
