3D-shape based search is a revolutionary technology in searching parts or assemblies. 3D-models will be found without any input of text data. The similarity will be analyzed and differences will be displayed. The algorithm is patended. Differences of internal features are detected as well as equal parts within assemblies, even if they have different positions.

Editing, input and administration of meta data is not necessary and the search database is setup automatically. 3DsearchIT runs as a separate application as well as integrated to PartExplorer, CAD, PDM, ERP and other systems.
